Performance Responsibilities and Standards:
1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution
• Collaborate with the VP, Communications & Development to set and achieve annual fundraising goals and budgets.
• Assist in implementing fundraising events and initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
• Establish and manage programs for securing major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
2. Event Coordination and Communication
• Oversee the solicitation of donations and silent auction items for annual fundraisers.
• Represent Nascentia Health at community and donor events to enhance relationships and increase giving potential.
• Assist with the production and distribution of donor-related publications, including newsletters and annual reports.
3. Administrative Duties
• Manage and maintain email lists for various donor outreach initiatives.
• Oversee the foundation’s fundraising processes, including tracking receipts and disbursements.
• Ensure that volunteers supporting the foundation have positive and rewarding experiences.
4. Other Duties
• Contribute content for newsletters, highlighting foundation news and updates.
• Support VPCD in meetings, correspondence, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of fundraising or business development experience.
• Strong skills in donor management, data tracking, and research.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to sit/stand 90% of the day
2. Speaking/visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend and express written/verbal communication
3. Frequent sitting, standing, walking
4. Extended periods of computer use
5. Ability to express self verbally and in writing
6. Ability to verbally communicate over a telephone
Compensation & Benefits
